Startup directly to hdmi1 every time is EZ-PZ. just have to play around in settings. Nowadays devices use Anynet+ or HDMI-CEC to give you total control of inputs.
Re: Start TV on HDMI 1 instead of Roku Home Screen? That should be a fairly straightforward one to do. Go to Home Screen, then SETTINGS > SYSTEM > POWER > POWER ON > HDMI 1 (or whatever you have named it) That should set it to power up on whatever input you select. 0 Kudos.
For the past two days, when I stream within any app on my 50" TCL Roku TV, the app will abruptly stop and the TV will go back to the home screen. This happens after anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours after streaming. I've called my internet service provider, checked my internet connection, and restarted my router.
First, select your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Select "Settings" from the pop-up menu. Next, click "Accounts & Sign In" from the menu. Select your Google account (the account responsible for the Home screen). Scroll down and toggle the switch on for "Apps Only Mode."
05-18-2021 04:59 PM TCL Roku TV stuck at red startup screen I have a TCL Roku TV (Model A105X). A couple nights ago, the TV just turned itself on and got stuck in the red startup screen. It sits there for a bunch of seconds then reboots only to end up in the same screen, and repeats forever. I have tried a bunch of things.
